'This event, produced by Jill Waters,
was as near perfection as radio gets.' * |

The Waters Company was founded in
January 2008 and aims to build on a decade of production experience
for BBC national radio which was preceded by a decade spent
in the publicity and editorial departments of independent publishers
as well as major publishing houses such as Penguin.
Our aim is to continue to bring the very best in radio readings
(fiction – Book at Bedtime and Afternoon
Reading; non-fiction - Book of the Week ) and
drama (eg. Afternoon Play, The Woman’s Hour
and Classic Serials on Radio 4) to an audience
that spans the online, digital and analogue airwaves.
Through collaborations with a range of directors, writers, producers
and actors The Waters Company is building a
core group of creative talent who are enthusiastically able
and willing to harness words and the stories they tell in challenging
new ways.
Editorial consultancy, abridgement of texts for audio and radio
production as well as audiobook production are also offered. |
